How long had it been? Deep in the depths and in the ocean. The sky, when it burned with green fire. The whips and the nets of the serpents, the coiling feeling of the burning fire within his blood?

How long had it been...

Time meant nothing to the creature. Life meant nothing to the creature. All that mattered, all that was - there was hunger. An insatiable hunger that went beyond his mind or his body, it moved through his soul. It burned through his soul, and the hunger was all that remained.

Glowing green eyes flickered in the darkness, illuminating the rent flesh and the blood on the water. As his long, mutated claws ripped themselves from the most recent corpse, the monster's nails flickered with a similar green energy. He licked the claws, spreading yet more blood on the water as the serrated edges of the things ripped into his own tongue. The blood of his victim and the blood from his own body intermingled, creating a strange, murky brown color around the ocean floor. He lapped it up, licking his injured tongue around in his large, gaping mouth.

Hunger was eternal, and his hunger was not sated. He required more, he needed more. And so the creature swam out from his cave, a net in hand as he readied himself to get more prey. Mrrgloro was what the beat called itself, but that name was not the one which had been given to it as a hatchling. That was the name that the serpentine slavers had called him, before he ate them. It suited his needs, when he needed to speak.

He rarely needed to speak.

After all, those who looked most like him were often the most delicious.

Blood trailed from his mouth as he swam towards the coast where the green murlocs made their own. The sharks feared to follow the green-tinted stuff, knowing on some instinctual level that nothing was left about the creature that swam with a dark purpose. There was nothing there in its soul, and there was nothing but a dark energy coiling through its body. It was Mrrgloro, and it existed only to eat.

The man's full name was Rictavio Marvello Wizcracker II. But everyone had called him "Lucky Rick" for basically his whole adult life. After all, his useless old mom had bankrupt the Wizcracker family, so it's not like there was any point in keeping "the second" part or even the surname, and he never liked the name Marvello. It sounded way too classy for the sort of man he was. So, Rick it was!

Rick was born in a respectable home on the outskirts of Kezan, and originally was the heir apparent of the Wizcracker family (well, duh!) which was a part of the Underdome Cartel. You know, that one which existed before Trade Prince Donais sold the rights to it while keeping his own title in a very lucrative deal to Jastor Gallywix. Damn, did Rick admire that man... way more than he did his mom! After all, sure, his mom had raised him as a single parent and all that once his dad went off to try to live the dream with three of his mistresses, but she also bankrupted the family business, lost their house, and once tried to sell a young Rictavio Marvello to the circus (that same young Rictavio had, of course, convinced one of his friends to act as his body double for that. He wondered sometimes what happened to little Timzi... ah well, not his problem!). So who could blame him when he threw a party the day that she died of a heart attack? No one, that's who! After all, he was able to collect a "grief door tax" enough that he could move off Kezan and start making his mark only a week later as a traveling peddler of wares. Ah, the good old days...

He missed the good old days, sometimes. Things were less complicated back then.

Lucky Rick sighed, sitting on the edge of his bed at the Broken Keel Tavern. He'd been in Ratchet for a few days now, but he was pretty much none-the-closer to the actual reason he came here. Oh sure, he'd made some small time profits (particularly off a certain gullible murloc. He was really coming to like that guy!) and he was actually in the midst of negotiating a bigger deal with a much bigger fish (let's just say that the Pandaria campaign has opened certain doors to those willing to brave the spiritual for the sake of the material) but...

Well, it couldn't be helped. Probably. The Lucky man flipped his favorite coin for what felt like the fiftieth time today, and once more, he successfully called heads. Yeesh, why didn't he ever have luck when he really needed it?! Can't be helped, can't be helped. He pocketed the coin, got up off his bed, and made to fix up his hair. He hummed as he did so...

Yeah, today he would try to sell his special "stegodon steaks" that he'd gotten from a "buddy in Un'goro." That'd be how he'd cheer himself up! Hell, if he got out on the floor now that murloc friend of his might even buy them and he'd be able to taste the results when the Pandaren cooked it. Yes, he decided, that would be how he'd pick up his spirits! It didn't matter if he'd made no real progress on the actual mission.

Everything was coming up Rick.

[So... his birthday was last month, Katara's was the other day, Neji's was a few days before that. Plus there was that (awesome) speed dating thing between all those. But! Now it is time for New Feather season, and, well... Now that things are more or less better with Katara and he is going to do something he hasn't done in while:

Go out and hit on girls. However... Frey has a girlfriend, so does Ven. Gold has whatever you quantify Crystal as, probably. So he intends to drag Cilan into it, but Cilan's a no-show. ...Man, he needs a wingman.

Oh well!! Most of the day day, around the plaza, Masaomi Kida will be finding new an inventive ways to flirt with women. No girl except ones he knows are taken is safe!! And in between that he'll be hanging out with his Pikachu, usually sitting on the edge of the fountain.

But then, later in the afternoon, more like evening, Masaomi will be clocking in some hours at the Convenience Store. Wherein he'll either interact with his coworkers, help out customers, or stock the shelves. Sure, it's a redundant shop, but it's officially one he works at, so he might as well work wit it. But once there, he dcides to make another voice entry:]

So I have a very charming man, seeking a girlfriend! Not me, of course, though I wouldn't want you to get the idea that I'm off the market. But for now, I'm doing a solid for my good friend Cilan-san! Maybe you've met him, but he's a little shy, despite how articulate and skilled with cooking he is. After all, he didn't hit the town with me or even go to the Speed Dating!
